She has done revolutionary work in the treatment of deafness with newer techniques in ENT surgeries (Middle Ear Implant / Stapes / Cochlear Implant). Developed innovative technique for powered endoscopic DCR. Developed convergent approach to identification of facial nerve in parotid surgery & developed newer concepts in the management of allergic sinus diseases to name a few. A role model in her fraternity, she has an award instituted in her name “Rastriya Gaurav award”. Dr. Suri is also passionate towards teaching & has trained 500 surgeons till date (including 200 from abroad). She is regularly invited as chief operating surgeon & trainer at surgical training workshops across the globe. Dr. Neeraj Suri has also initiated Cochlear implant programme in Gujarat/India that has till date saved hundreds of children from debilitating growth retardation by timely restoration of their hearing ability.
